Ultrasuede Fabric Care Instructions

Supplier of Ultrasuede Fabric

Ultrasuede fabric is soft and luxurious and great for retailers. Hyde Park Denim is happy to sell Ultrasuede fabric to customers around the United States. Ultrasuede fabric provides all-weather comfort, while requiring little maintenance. But some maintenance is required and there are instructions for optimal care of the fabric. However, "carefree instructions" might be a better way of putting it. One of the key benefits of this fabric is how easy it is to keep looking beautiful and feeling soft.

Let's take a look at some of the instructions for Ultrasuede fabric. As a wholesaler, we can provide you with affordable denim fabric.

Everyday Upkeep

A quick once-over with a lint brush easily restores the soft luster of Ultrasuede. Users can also periodically vacuum the fabric. If you wanted to dust it gently with a damp cloth, make sure to not get the fabric too wet. Once the fabric is completely dry, you can rejuvenate the fabric with another gentle brushing.

Laundering

Ultrasuede fabric is designed to be washed in the machine. However, there are circumstances where it doesn't stand up great in a washing machine. When this is the case, it can be dry cleaned.

Ironing & Storage

Wrinkle-resistant Ultrasuede essentially never requires ironing. However, if you do opt to iron it, then brush the fabric with a lint brush in one direction and make sure to use a pressing cloth. Press the fabric gently with the iron set at or below 250ºF. Afterwards, wrap the Ultrasuede garment and hang it in an insecticide and mothball free space on a clothes hanger. This way it maintains its shape during storage.

Spot Cleaning

Spot cleaning is required from time to time. For spills, gently pat the spilled liquid with a paper towel and that can take care of most spills. After wiping it up, allow the fabric to dry completely before using it again. If it is dried-in, perhaps gently brushing the stained area gets the stain out. Vacuuming the dried-up stain can also work.

Oil Based Stains

Oil based stains are not removable with water. We recommend trying to wipe up stains as much as possible, without spreading the stain. Use a dry cloth or paper towel to wipe up. The next step would be to take two rags to clean. One soaked in ethyl alcohol and the other is clean and dry. Use the alcohol-soaked rage to pat the stained area and then use the dry cloth to pat the loosened dirt off. Repeat this method until you think the stain is removed. Once the stain is removed, then you can let the fabric dry completely before using it again.

Chewing Gum and Wax

If you get chewing gum or wax on the Ultrasuede, then put ice in a plastic bag and place them directly on the stain. Once the material hardens, you can gently chip it away and then treat with ethyl alcohol. Finally rinsing with clean water.

Old Stains of Unknown Origin

Finding old stains is frustrating. Especially when you have no idea what the stain is. We recommend to first treat the stain with lukewarm water. Then rinse by blotting it with clean water. If the stain begins to dissolve, then repeat this treatment method until it is gone. Once gone, let it dry thoroughly.
