Raw denim fabric is stiff, but when it comes to us we treat it and pre-wash it to make it more desirable for sale. Of course, some factories like getting raw denim, which we sell. Denim Made From 100% Cotton

One of the reason denim feels the way it does is because it can be made from 100% cotton. When it comes down to it, the denim weave is one of the strongest and longest-lasting textiles you can make out of cotton. When you use cotton and turn it into denim, the raw denim fabric forms a diagonal ribbing pattern. Ultimately, it is the pattern that separates denim from other cotton fabrics.

However, just a note, simply because you can make denim from 100% cotton doesn't always mean it is. Often elastic materials, like spandex, gets blended into the raw denim fabric, which makes it more stretchable and oftentimes more comfortable.
